Swedish artist Jëlly talks about her type 1 diabetes in new film
Singer Jëlly talks candidly about living with type 1 diabetes in a new film produced by Diabetes Wellness Sverige, DRWF’s sister group in Sweden.
The short film features interviews with Jëlly on many aspects of life with type 1 diabetes from diagnosis to the daily struggles of self-management.
Jëlly also talks about addressing the condition in her song ‘Dö Ung (Dying Young)’.
Our colleagues at Diabetes Wellness Sverige said: “To coincide with World Diabetes Day 2018 we wanted to present a short film we have made with the artist Jëlly, who has type 1 diabetes. The film is close to our hearts and we hope that it can inspire and spread knowledge about diabetes.”
